Donald Trump’s Mormon Problem

In The New York Times, McKay Coppins writes, “In the fight to fend off Donald J. Trump’s conquest of the Republican Party, there has been no fiercer faction this year than the Mormons.” Recent polls indicate that Mormons, unlike many Trump-opposing conservatives, may be unwavering in their opposition of the Republican presidential nominee. Coppins writes, “Even if Utah ultimately submits to the pull of partisanship as expected, it remains an open question whether Mormons at large will stay engaged in the process.”
