Social Conservatives, However Reluctant, Are Warming to the Idea of Trump

The New York Times‘ Jeremy W. Peters reports that social conservatives are gradually backing Donald Trump in his run for the presidency. Although Trump has gone against many of their ideas on marriage and the family, they see him as a convert to their cause. Penny Nance, the president of Concerned Women for America, told Peters: “He’s not my first choice. He’s not my second choice … But any concerns I have about him pale in contrast to Hillary Clinton.”
