London’s New Mayor Vows to be a Leader for Everyone

At the Associated Press, Shawn Pogatchnik reports that London’s first Muslim Mayor, Sadiq Khan, has vowed to equally represent every community in the British capital. Khan celebrated his inauguration in a multi-denomination ceremony at an Anglican Church while accompanied by leaders of various faiths. “I’m determined to lead the most transparent, engaged and accessible administration London has ever seen, and to represent every single community and every single part of our city as a mayor for Londoners,” said Khan.
