An Easter Sunday Suicide Bombing Shows Plight of Pakistan’s Christians

Adam Taylor of The Washington Post reports, “At least 72 people died in a suicide bombing in a crowded park in Lahore, Pakistan, on Sunday.” An offshoot of the Taliban claimed responsibility for the Easter attacks, which they say intentionally targeted Christians. “It’s our message to the government that we will carry out such attacks again until sharia is imposed in the country,” said a spokesman for the terrorist group.
