Trump Grabbing White, Born-Again Christian Voters

Rachel Zoll of the Associated Press reports that Republican frontrunner Donald Trump has succeeded in winning the vote of born-again Christians. Trump has captured the support of one-third of this voting bloc, despite the harsh criticism coming from the majority of evangelical leaders. “We’re not electing a priest, a pope or a pastor,” said Reverend Carl Gallups, a Southern Baptist pastor. “We’re electing a president, a CEO, a commander in chief. I’m not perfectly happy with Donald Trump either, but I’m a realist.”
