Mosque Near University of Arizona Endures Scorn of Students Next Door

The New York Times‘ Fernanda Santos reports on the recent abuse directed toward a Tucson mosque by students at the University of Arizona. There has been an increase in Islamophobia at colleges in recent months, as other institutions, including American University and Virginia Tech, have endured bigoted actions. “We’ll resolve this,” said Ahmed Meiloud, a Ph.D. candidate at Arizona. “They won’t run us out of here.”
