Walker Defends Rape and Incest Position on Abortion Bill

Scott Walker’s statement that he would approve a ban on late-term abortions, even if it contained no exemptions. “A version of the bill passed by the Wisconsin House of Representatives does not include exemptions for rape or incest but does have provisions permitting abortions that would save the life of the mother,” Altman and Miller write. “Walker’s political opponents painted his position as extreme.”
