Boko Haram Uses Girls as Suicide Bombers, Reports Say

NPR’s Ofeibea Quist-Arcton reports that over the weekend, in northeastern Nigeria, Boko Haram employed young women and girls as suicide bombers. Speaking about a 10-year-old girl’s suicide bombing, Quist-Arcton says, “What we don’t know, of course, is whether this was by choice. 10 years old? Probably not. But a day later, Sunday, we’re told that either young women or young girls also blew themselves up.”
