Kerry to See Iranian Counterpart at U.N.

The Wall Street Journal’s Laurence Norman reports on an upcoming meeting between Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and five other world powers. Norman writes, “The meeting, expected Thursday, would be the highest-level face-to-face contact between the U.S. and Iran since the 1979 Iranian revolution.” The European Union foreign-policy chief announced that the meeting would involve a “short discussion” on Iran’s nuclear program.
