Atheist Monument Unveiled In Front Of Crowd In Starke

Morgan Watkins of The Gainesville Sun reports that an atheist monument was unveiled in Starke, Florida, next to the Ten Commandments in front of the Bradford County Courthouse on Saturday. “Those who erected the monument say it’s the first public marker dedicated to atheism in the United States,” and includes quotes from Thomas Jefferson and American Atheists founder Madalyn Murray O’Hair.
