Kenya’s Christians And Muslims Unite To Combat Addiction

Fredrick Nzwili of Religion News Service reports that in Kenya, fractious religious groups “are uniting to tackle alcohol and drug abuse” in a country where drug use has recently reached “crisis levels.” Nzwili writes that religious leaders are working hard to address the issue: “From Sunday schools to Islamic madrassas, the groups are providing preventative education, public awareness and life skills training.”
