Feds: All Girls To Have Morning-After Pill Access

“The federal government on Monday told a judge it will reverse course and take steps to comply with his order to allow girls of any age to buy emergency contraception without prescriptions,” reports Tom Hays of the Associated Press. The decision ends a long fight between the Obama administration and women’s rights groups. While Planned Parenthood called the decision “a historic moment for women’s health and equity,” the Family Research Council “criticized the government for not sticking with its decision to appeal.”
