Former Prop 8 Advocate Calls Homosexuality “Benign,” Explains New LGBT Partnership
At The Christian Post, Nicola Menzie reports on a recent discussion on gay marriage at King’s College between David Blankenhorn and David Lapp. Blankenhorn, who testified as an expert witness for California’s Proposition 8 case, shocked his anti-gay rights supporters when he began to advocate for same-sex marriage in June. On his switch, Blankenhorn said, “Our way of being pro-family was first and foremost … to be anti-gay marriage. I thought that was just a losing strategy, it was not helping to improve the living conditions of American children.”
