Religious Leaders Protest Obama Drone Policy
Religious leaders are speaking out against President Obama’s drone policy, reports Dan Merica of CNN. In a recently released video, a group of rabbis, reverends and priests used religious justification to denounce his policies, labeling them “assassination by remote control.” “From a New Testament point of view, drones are completely appalling,” said Reverend Paul F.M. Zahi. “The whole idea of killing a guy without giving the guy a chance to surrender is preemptive. That for me was completely contrary to the teachings of Christ.”
