America’s Anti-Gun Theocrats
Tablet’s Yair Rosenberg critiques the double standard religious conservatives face when they participate in politics. On the heels of liberal religious leaders releasing an anti-gun ad, Rosenberg writes, “The charge that faith leaders are inappropriately meddling in our politics is one that only seems to be leveled at religious conservatives and not at their liberal counterparts.” He continues, “It is not religion’s entanglement in politics that is the real target of criticism, but religious conservatism.”
