The Orthodox Go to Washington
Yair Rosenberg of Tablet considers the rising influence of Orthodox Judaism within AIPAC, which was visible at their annual conference in Washington this week. “Burgeoning Orthodox involvement at AIPAC is not a fluke,” Rosenberg writes. “It is part of a broader trend of engagement in the political process by the community. From the Republican National Convention to nationwide battles over school choice and tuition support, Orthodox Jews are becoming increasingly prominent.”
