“It Will Be a Bloodbath”: Inside the Kansas Militia Plot to Ignite a Religious War
The Washington Post’s Cleve R. Wootson Jr. reports that three men from Kansas were arrested on charges of plotting to kill Muslims and ignite a religious war. Motivated by Islamophobia, Curtis Allen, Gavin Wright, and Patrick Eugene Stein call themselves the Crusaders. They “face federal charges of conspiring to use a weapon of mass destruction to blow up an apartment complex, a mosque and Muslim immigrants from Somalia, the Department of Justice announced Friday.”
